biography Dengaz is a Portuguese rapper and singer, originally from Cascais, who began his musical career at the age of 14, as a member of Dinastia, a hip-hop group. Later, he joined the reggae band InnaStereo, but never abandoned his solo rap project, which made him one of the most popular and recognized artists of the genre in Portugal. Dengaz released his first solo album in 2010, titled Skill Respect & Humildade, which showed his versatility and talent as a lyricist and composer. The album featured guest appearances by Sam The Kid, Valete, NBC or Dino D’Santiago. In 2011, he released his second album, AHYA, for free download, which had more than 50 thousand downloads and included songs such as “From The Heart”, “Encontrei” or “Em Casa”, with the participation of Agir, Richie Campbell or Marcelo D2. In 2013, he signed with Sony Music and released his third album, Para Semper, which was a huge commercial and critical success. The album had themes such as “Rainha”, “Tamojuntos” or “Nada Errado”, with the participation of António Zambujo, Matay or Seu Jorge. In 2015, he released his fourth album, Para Semper (Unplugged), which was an acoustic version of the previous album, recorded live at Estúdio Vale de Lobos.
