The Gift

biography The Gift is a Portuguese alternative rock band, formed in 1994 in Alcobaça. His repertoire, written mostly in English, includes songs such as "Ok! Do You Want Something Simple?" The single "Fácil de Entender" was one of the most played on Portuguese radio. In 2011, the band released their fourth original album, "Explode", which was produced by Ken Nelson. The album marked a more pop and electronic turn for the band, with the singles "RGB", "Made for You" and "Race is Long". The band went on a major tour again across the country and abroad. In 2017, the band released their fifth album of originals, "Altar", which was produced by Brian Eno. The album was considered one of the best of the band's career, having been praised by critics and the public. The single "Love Without Violins" featured Brian Eno on vocals. In 2021, the band announced their sixth original album, "Coral", which will be revealed through the band's application, the REV App. The band will also release a documentary mini-series that shows the entire creative and production process of the album.
