She is known for her singles “Bai” and “Notre Amour” and has a successful Instagram account, where she can be seen posing in different looks for her more than 850,000 followers. Before becoming known as a singer, Soraia came first in the Vozes da Diáspora competition, held in Switzerland in 2010. Soraia Ramos sings in Cape Verdean Creole and has collaborated with other artists, including actor Ahmed Sylla, who appears in the music video for "Notre Amour".
