biography The Folkloric Ranch “Os Camponeses de Vale do Brejo” was founded on May 7, 1982, although it was formed in 1977. It has its headquarters in Vale do Brejo, belonging to the Parish of Aveiras de Cima, Municipality of Azambuja. It arose from a Carnival game and since then, this group has not stopped enriching its costumes as well as collecting habits and customs from the Aveiras de Cima region.
