biography Marlene Fernanda Cardoso Tavares, known by her stage name Nenny, was born on November 19, 2002 in Vialonga, Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal. Nenny is a Portuguese singer and rapper, born to Cape Verdean parents and started writing her own songs at the age of 9. Nenny began taking his music career more seriously in 2018 after receiving positive feedback for his covers posted on his Instagram account. After a successful cover of Wet Bed Gang's “Devia Ir”, the Portuguese hip-hop group decided to help Nenny grow in the music industry and gave him the chance to record his work in a studio. With his help, Nenny released the single “Sushi”, which went twice Platinum. In 2020, she released her first EP, Aura and was also nominated for the Play awards - Portuguese Music Awards in the New Artist and Song of the Year (Bússola) categories.
