biography João Pedro Pais is a Portuguese singer and composer, born on September 20, 1971. With an artistic career spanning two decades, hundreds of concerts and around 420 thousand records sold, João Pedro Pais is today one of the artists most beloved by the Portuguese public. In kindergarten, his talent for music was already known, as his maternal great-uncles were almost all Portuguese guitar, viola, piano and violin musicians. Sport was also an area to which he dedicated himself diligently during his youth, having become champion several times in the Greco-Roman style. In November 1997 he finally released his first album of originals. Segredos proves to be a bestseller right from the start, where the themes “Ninguém (it belongs to nobody)” and “Crazy (for you)” become some of the most emblematic of his career.
