biography The Folkloric Group of S. Martinho de Tibães - Braga was founded in 1981, with the support of the theater group “Tony & Ca”. Since 1983, he has been affiliated with Inatel de Braga and travels across the country from north to south, as well as abroad. This group sings and dances chulas, malhões and viras to the sound of the concertina, bass drum, cavaquinho, viola and reque-reque. Maintains regular activities in hotels and restaurants. Participates in R.A.M. festivals and folklore meetings, as well as Christmas and end-of-year festivities. This cultural group is made up of around 50 members, including dancers and the ronda or toccata, aged between 0 and 80 years old.
