Biography
biography Elisa Rodrigues was born on September 29, 1986, in Cascais, Portugal. Portuguese singer and composer known for being one of the emerging names in national jazz. Elisa recorded her debut album, “Heart Mouth Dialogues”, in 2011. This album reflected a personalized language that reflected the taste for multiple references and learning from different influences, especially the one that earned her, especially in the musical world, to become identified as a voice of jazz. Elisa was recruited to record with the British band These New Puritans on the 2013 album “Field Of Reeds”, later joining the group's intercontinental tour. Elisa has performed on highly visible international stages such as the Barbican (in London) or the mythical Hollywood Bowl, in Los Angeles. In 2018, Elisa released “As Blue As Red”, her second full-length album, in which names that have already attended the Festival da Canção in recent years, such as Luísa Sobral, Joana Espadinha or Pedro da Silva Martins, collaborated. Elisa Rodrigues has performed at several festivals such as Vodafone Mexefest, Cool Jazz, MED, Douro Jazz.
