Biography
biography Anna Joyce is an Angolan singer born on May 29, 1987 in Luanda. He began his career in the children's choir at the Igreja Matriz de Odivelas in Lisbon. Daughter of Eduardo de Castro José Agostinho and Maria Amélia Veloso de Castro, Anna Joyce is the youngest of 6 siblings. It was under the influence of his sister Tânia that he began composing children's songs at the age of 10. As a teenager, she began performing musical choirs for friends, which led her to compose and record her first songs for Killa Records, a project that ended up never being released. Years later, in a meeting with singer and producer Johnny Ramos, Anna Joyce decides to travel to Holland where she records the song Não VALES NADA which was part of Dj Kapiro's debut CD. She promoted music throughout the provinces as a guest on Johnny Ramos' tour and also in shows and television programs as a guest artist for Da Banda. In March 2011, Anna Joyce was diagnosed with a brain tumor, but she underwent a successful operation in England and with the help of family and friends she fully recovered, but this fact caused her to stay away from music during the entire recovery period, more than 1 year. At the end of 2012, Joyce was part of the Milionário Records musical collection with the song Se Olhasses Para Mim, which earned her her first nomination on Top Rádio Luanda as best new voice. Although he didn't win, this was confirmation that he was on the right path and he decided to look for an agent and that's when Camilo Travassos, also Anselmo Ralph's agent, appeared. In May 2013, Anna and Anselmo traveled to Switzerland, where they recorded 4 songs that would be part of Anna Joyce's single, by Nelson Klasszik, also a music producer. The promotional song is called Curtição (response), as the name suggests, it is the response to the song Curtição which was part of the Time de Sonho album. This song was written by Anselmo Ralph himself and performed by Anna Joyce. The release of the single entitled Diário de Mulher, will be in February 2014. Each musical track will be like fragments of a woman's life, her joys, sadness and dilemmas of the heart. Anna Joyce is the author of the hits “I waited”, “Puro” and “Não vou mayar” and was featured on the renowned global communications network British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Managed by the producer LS & Republican, the singer recently released a new album entitled “Anna”, in honor of the singer herself and her family.
